InfantSEE awareness

February is InfantSEE awareness month at Advanced Family Eye Care!baby eyes small

InfantSEE® is a public health program managed by Optometry Cares® - The AOA Foundation and supported by The Vision Care Institute™ LLC, a Johnson & Johnson company. InfantSEE® is designed to ensure that eye and vision care becomes an integral part of infant wellness care to improve a child's quality of life. Under this program, we will provide a FREE comprehensive eye and vision assessments for infants within the first year of life regardless of a family's income or access to insurance coverage.
One in every 10 children is at risk from undiagnosed eye and vision problems. Many of these conditions, if identified at an early age, can be prevented or more easily corrected. Unfortunately, approximately 4% of all children will develop strabismus (crossed eye) and 3% of all children will be amblyopic (lazy eye). Early detection of eye conditions is the best way to ensure a baby has healthy vision for successful development-now and in the future.
We will be most privileged to examine your child. Call our office today at 704.822.9920 to schedule your infant for an eye examination!
